RAINN + Dept of Defense
The Department of Defense (DoD) Safe Helpline provides a way for DoD community members affected by sexual assault to get help.
Safe Helpline staff members have been trained to answer questions relating to military-specific topics such as Restricted and Unrestricted Reporting and how to connect with relevant military resources, such as an installation or base’s Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), should those services be requested.

Healing looks different for everyone. There is no one single path forward. These books, documentaries, and films have helped us better understand our own experiences and trauma responses, given us a greater understanding of the lifelong impacts of sexual violence, and supported our healing journeys. We hope these resources will provide knowledge, validation, comfort, and hope to others as well.
